President, Financial Planner
Lincoln Financial Services, Inc.
I help families and first responders avoid retirement pitfalls—minimizing taxes, securing income, and managing investments wisely.
I specialize in working with families, first responders, and business owners who want more than just investment advice—they want a coordinated strategy for retirement. My focus is helping clients avoid the common pitfalls that can derail even well-built plans, including over-taxation, income shortfalls, and misaligned investment strategies. I am the President and Owner of Lincoln Financial Services, a firm founded by my father, Michael Lincoln, in 1976. I joined the business in 2011, transitioned into management in 2015, and took over ownership in 2019 following his retirement. Before entering the financial services industry, I spent 10 years as a senior consultant and strategic analyst for a global Fortune 500 organization, where I developed quantitative and qualitative solutions for companies across a wide range of industries throughout the western United States and Canada. That experience shaped the way I think—analytically, structurally, and always with an eye toward how individual decisions impact the larger system. Since joining the firm, I have continued to expand my expertise to better serve clients. I hold Series 7, 24, 63, 65, and 66 securities registrations, along with licenses in life, health, accident, variable annuities (VA), variable universal life (VUL), and long-term care insurance. I am also a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), a designation earned through The American College of Financial Services, focused specifically on retirement income planning. Throughout my career, I have been honored to qualify for MDRT for 14 years, including 8 years as a Court of the Table member and 4 years as a Top of the Table member, and I am an MDRT Foundation Bronze Knight. What makes my approach different is simple: I do not treat financial decisions in isolation. Most advisors address investments, taxes, income, and risk separately. I believe those decisions only make sense when they are coordinated. My role is to help clients align each moving part so their plan works the way it is intended to, not just in theory, but in practice over time. I was raised in Arvada, Colorado, where I still live with my family. My wife, Sarah, and I have been married since 2004, and together we are raising our four children—Audrey, Brianna, Henry, and Miles. We are active in our church, St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish, and stay involved in our community in a variety of ways. I also support the MDRT Foundation and its charitable initiatives, and I plan to dedicate more time in the future to aviation-focused organizations such as EAA, Pilots N Paws, Angel Flight, and Civil Air Patrol. Outside of work, I am an instrument-rated private pilot with a deep appreciation for aviation. I enjoy traveling, camping, hunting, and hiking—often combining those interests through road trips and RV vacations with my family. In quieter moments, I enjoy cooking, 3D design and printing, and a good Scotch, bourbon, or cigar.
